Over the years the Burdette Smith Group, P.C. has acquired nine accounting practices. These acquisitions were generally practices of CPAs who were nearing retirement age. The transactions have been universally successful with the legalities structured in such a way that both parties have profited. We are proud that these respected practitioners considered us a good firm in practice and reputation to whom they could recommend their long-term clientele. Retention of clients is always key in these arrangements and we're very good at it. We are always interested in exploring opportunities for merger and acquisition.
