- How are your fees determined?
The Burdette Smith Group bases fees strictly on expended time with consideration given to the complexity of the issues encountered and the resources utilized in the successful completion of the engagement. Each staff member is assigned a billing rate. Billing rates currently range from $250 to $80 per hour. These rates are reviewed annually. Bills are issued monthly and are payable upon receipt. Some services require deposits in advance of the onset of work. A shareholder of the firm will be able to answer further questions regarding fees.

It may be that you require basic accounting support services which can be handled by one of our non-certified staff accountants, with the supervision and review of a CPA. On the other hand, accounting support services may be so interrelated that it would be in your best interest to work with a CPA to be sure that all facets of your business and personal work are properly analyzed as part of the big picture.
